Strip out/Refurbishment work


We recently won a contract which involved stripping out three floors of offices which were going to be refurbished into flats.



It involved us completely removing partition walls, suspended ceilings, stripping back the electrics, ductwork and plumbing. We also had to strip up the floor finishes, toilets and kitchen areas. We had to leave it as an empty shell ready for work to commence on the flats.

   

We had to diamond drill holes through the slabs in a variety of places for both core samples to check slab strength and for services to be rerouted vertically between floors and horizontally through basement walls



  
On the ground floor we had to remove the existing screed as well as suspended ceiling and services, to leave exposed concrete slab and soffit. Once exposed there were concrete repairs required to the soffit in order to  leave this as an empty shell ready to be fitted out by a well known supermarket.
